February 27, 2008: Today is Cleve Backster’s birthday. One of his fondest wishes is to have a relationship "one to a million" — intravenous ultram
If you are one of the million people aware of his discoveries and their implications, this is one place you can write your thoughts.

I’m still learning the rules of blogging. I cannot respond personally to all, but I will update and make Cleve aware of what people are saying.

When I go out to present the Backster research to groups or individuals (and yes, sell a few books) I encounter all kinds of audiences. Friday night at the San Diego Chat Club was a pleasant mixture of young and old, mystic and mental, scientific and intuitive, skeptical and gullible. So I had something for everyone, at least, a lot of anecdotes from the last 8 years of publishing and promoting Primary Perception.
I consider these chat groups and the like, the new temples of wisdom. There are some online as well. They have many teachers who enthusiastically offer their field of information for a small sum. The books are sold with a personal flourish. So the volunteer students are rewarded for their attention. My approach is that of a kindergarten teacher. Relax, folks, you are in Primary School. Let’s have fun and tell stories! It is an ideal learning environment.
The most challenging thing for me in the last few weeks was to decide which avenues of awareness to talk about and which ones to leave until another time. It’s an ocean of information we swim in and I chose to share the personal and the miraculous, those which were easy to speak of because I was there, or had the smell, taste and feel of it. Many people cannot interpret the written word, but they can experience it second hand with vivid verbal expressions.
So it was with a happy feeling I reviewed some of Cleve’s discoveries and the stories of people who discovered him, investigated the information on their own turf and ended up validating them. People like Alexander Dubrov in Moscow , who is still an author and a member of our Bio Web group. Then among the ascended scientific minds, Bose, Burbank, Carver, Einstein, plus Dorothy Retallack who did research with music and plants; Marcel Vogel, whose own experiments with leaves led him onto greater adventures, including examining metals and crystals from other planets. I showed them a stack of books that included new research from around the world, new approaches and discoveries in awareness. (Check our relevant links page for a list.) There is so much knowledge available! I act as an interpreter to open the minds enough for the specific insights to shine in.
I told them about Dr. Klinkhammer’s help both on earth and from the next world, and reviewed my time in Taiwan with brilliant speakers and scholars at the Future Science conference. Then the visit with Pierre Loisel , a priest turned organic farmer: If you cannot remember that story I can re send it. Here is a man, still working on the north end of Taiwan , who “talks to the bacteria” encouraging these microscopic organisms to break down garbage into compost and liquid fertilizer. He trusts that the mite eating bugs and birds will show up in time to save the corn crop. Does the corn put out an SOS when under attack? He turned a sandy beach house into a huge organic jungle, where over 52 kinds of ferns volunteered to show up and grow. He doesn’t try to prove anything, he just lets it happen. I shared his story as one more pioneer, this one in organic gardening.
That one and many others. One of the last stories was from A Journey into Prayer, by Bill Sweet. Bean sprouts. What can we learn from the experiments done with different kinds of praying over bean sprouts? Placing one’s attention on something has an effect, but “Triangular prayer” works best. To understand the meaning of that you’ll have to read the book. It tells how certain meditators can cause bean sprouts, either too wet and too dry, to grow better than the control batch, in spite of the water imbalances. Russian psychic Olga Worral did many experiments along these lines, energizing water that “healed sick plants.”
download house bunny the I grow sprouts in a jar and eat them now with an awareness of the miraculous. This teaches me elemental balance including the quintessence of mung beans or soy or alfalfa or whichever ones I introduce to water, air, earth and sun. Our kitchens and yards are our laboratories, so feel free to experiment and report back. Cleve Backster actually enjoys hearing what others have discovered on their own. If a tree calls to you from across the city, we want to hear about it. We live in the same world wide field of information, and know a few of the same tunes.
