Your observation clearly demonstrates the power of thought to affect plant life. Many school kids have done similar experiments; I know mine have.

Cleve’s initial observation with his “famous dracaena plant” started him on the awareness path. He talked about it since 1966., and considered it an important teacher. He had slept and lived near it for over 25 years after moving to San Diego, and it thrived in the same old soil and crumbling pot, growing through the roof. A few years back, when Cleve was forced to move his living quarters out of his lab, the famous dracaena plant [his Bodhi Tree], started to fade. He blamed it on the change of conditions, his lab partner’s choice of negative radio shows, the lonely unhappy lab cats, the separation from himself. For quite a long time, we worked to keep it from perishing. Yet he repeatedly mentioned how unhappy he was at being forced to move a block away.

One day when he was off getting his hair cut, I was in the lab dusting off the plant for some expected visitors. The main stalk cracked off in my hand! I immediately placed it in water to root it. Later we repotted the plant and pruned it back, rooting the cuttings, one of which is right here next to me. The following winter I was visiting Hawaii when I had a dream that the plant ‘s electricity was spiralling next to the pot, similar to a spirit leaving the body. The message was, the mission is complete, and carry on! After that, nothing we did could keep it alive. SO your plant was showing you that once you sincerely intend for something to die, it probably will. Such is the power of human thought.

For Cleve’s experience with real Voodoo, read in the fourth chapter of Primary Perception the section on “Three Trips to Brazil.” There are many examples of negative thought manifesting in our world. Now that we know this is possible, we have the opportunity to create differently. This may be an important aspect of how consciousness creates matter, which is a premise of quantum physics.

I had a beautiful broad leafed rubber plant I bought for my wife at the birth of our first son. I had read “Power of Prayer on Plants” and decided to give it a try. Only this time I decided to try to negatively affect the plant by swearing at it, telling how ugly it was and how much I hated it and wished it would die.

After about 3 days of this constant harangue (whenever I would pass by it)I started to notice a yellow tinge appearing on the leaves and over the next week or so it began dying. I stopped the negative words and actions at about the 3 day mark, but the plant continued to die and nothing we did physically, seemed to stop the plant’s inevitable demise. I even APOLOGIZED to it(!!), lol–but, it did not reverse the trend. We disposed of the plant after about 2 weeks as it had NO GREEN spots left–yellow and dry–it had obviously died. I felt strangely horrible about it, and guilty–still do!

BUT, it demonstrated the “power” to me in a very “in your face” way.

I have been able to rid myself of warts, on occasion, using the same negative methodology.

What if someone had a specific kind of cancer and a picture of this person as well as the name, were distributed to a few people of like negative abilities. And, maybe a stereotypical “picture” of the cancer so the people could grasp what this cancer in the person looked like–something to “swear” at!! Kinda voodooISH isn’t it? I believe something like that just might work to “kill” the cancer in the same way I “killed” my beautiful plant. The more people engaged in killing this persons cancer the more effective the “cure” might be. (?) Dunno…
